looking for help to move in the right direction. This is why recruiters are needed in this rigorous effort to help people.
But which industry is the best to recruit in? The best vertical industry for growth and opportunity is the IT staffing
   industry.

There is always a need for people to work in administrative, financial and healthcare industry. Unfortunately many of
these are horizontal industries where there may not be much growth. As IT recruiters in the IT staffing industry, we
see so much growth and opportunities that most industries just don’t have due to the constant need to improve
technology. As a result, the technical staffing industry has unlimited growth and opportunity.

Growth. Is there any other word that describes the desire to work hard for any professional at any level? This word
alone is the key to the future whether your goal is compensation, experience, or enjoyment. Growth. Is there any
other word that can describe a company's desire to move up the ladder to the next level and beat the competition?
Growth is the reason recruiting in the IT staffing industry has the best opportunity. Technology is being created each
and every day for IT professionals to learn in hopes of taking their careers to the next level.

After growth comes opportunity. Technology is rapidly evolving and creating new opportunities to individuals who want
to learn and be part of the future. According to the US Department of Labor,  “The computer systems design and
related services industry is among the economy's largest and fastest sources of employment growth.” Even in today's
economy there will always be an upside for growth.

The advantages of recruiting in the information technology industry are many.  As stated, people are always
introducing new technologies – and companies are always in need to keep up to date with these technologies.  With
that said, companies are always looking for specific experiences and technical knowledge, resulting in an upward
spiral to more and more opportunities available.

Another advantage recruiting in the IT recruiting industry is the large number of IT jobs. Although there are still
permanent positions, IT contract positions open up new opportunities for high-tech professionals to get a taste of
many different technologies. According to multiple government sources, the average length of employment these
days is 18 months. Therefore, it's almost fair to say there is no such thing as “permanent” jobs anymore.  More and
more contracts are being approved each day with more and more IT consultants joining the industry. Subsequently,
the IT recruitment industry well never comes to a standstill because of new technologies being developed and the
ambition of professionals to learn them.

To summarize, the IT recruiting industry is far superior for three reasons. Firstly, the growth of technology is endless -
there will always be new technologies whether it is upgrading or creation. Second, there are more and more IT
professional intrigued to be apart of the ever-evolving industry of technology. Third, contract IT jobs provide
opportunities for individuals who seek to learn new technologies. Therefore, the potential is endless in the IT recruiting
space.  It is such an opportunistic environment that provides substantial growth for the novice all the way to the
experienced professional. This is why Information Technology is the best Vertical Industry to recruit in.

“The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets
people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before,
and so in a sense it is all about potential.”
