Job Title: Data Integration Developer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Integration Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration programs that facilitate the movement of data into and out of our Operational Data Store (ODS). The ideal candidate will also provide ongoing support for existing jobs, which may involve off-hours on-call assistance, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions for the Operational Data Store (ODS), ensuring efficient data flow between systems.

Support and troubleshoot existing data integration processes, including off-hours support when necessary.

Implement integration solutions following industry best practices and standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and propose architecture solutions.

Develop and manage complex ETL jobs, including XML Datastage job designs, to process hierarchical XML data, fixed-width files, and CSV files.

Create and manage data mapping, exception handling, and integrate multiple data sources in an enterprise environment.

Use Unix Shell scripting for automation and Tivoli Workload Scheduler for batch job scheduling.

Work with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and other relevant technologies for data manipulation and query optimization.

Ensure the integration solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business needs.

Provide support for business-critical systems in a 24/7 environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong experience with ETL tools, especially IBM DataStage and IBM InfoSphere Information Server (8.7, 11.5) and related technologies (OBJEX, WebServices, Message Broker 6, IIB 10, Java, Datapower).

Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Expertise in complex XML Datastage job designs, including extracting and transforming hierarchical XML data into fixed-width or CSV files.

Solid understanding of Unix Shell scripting for automation and Tivoli Workload Scheduler for managing batch jobs.

Strong knowledge of data integration, data mapping, and exception handling within an enterprise environment.

Familiarity with Java/J2EE, JSON, JMS, XML, XSLT, XSD, SOAP, REST, WSDL, WMB 6, and Datapower is preferred.

Ability to analyze business requirements and design robust integration solutions.

Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly in data analysis and integration.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with IBM DataStage and Oracle database technologies.
