AVID Technical Resources is seeking a Cybersecurity Director to support our client in Los Angeles, CA on a full-time basis. The salary is $140,000- $200,000 DOE.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
Experience:
- 7 years in information security.
- At least 3 years in a management role.
- Experience with technology policy in a university environment (preferred).
Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CISA (highly desirable).
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FERPA).
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
