Requirements

Provide leadership to UCSF Health in the supply chain function, while focusing on the three priorities of innovation, activation, and analytics.
Direct the department in operational innovation and the achievement of industry best practice by redesigning the end-to-end supply chain operations to improve service and cost.
Apply principles of operations engineering and Lean design to create a supply chain that acknowledges the unique nature of an academic research environment while also bringing into alignment with the industry benchmarks for cost-effective healthcare delivery systems.
Prepare re-purposing of the existing campuses for continued patient care use. The supply chain has continued to scale given immense patient volume growth, the additional clinical site openings, operating room openings and backfill initiatives. Integrate the various data sources in to create a set of analytics and reports that provide insight into the supply chain performance, enable the management team to keep the customer informed, and provide information about the utilization patterns to the clinical effectiveness team.
Functions as a liaison for any supply chain functions being undertaken at the various new buildings being established including, but not limited to various locations.
