With the promotion, comes an increase in base salary and additional responsibilities. As a Manager of Branch Recruiting, you’re responsible for the following duties/responsibilities:
- Mentor, train and develop existing IT recruiting team.
- Mentor, train and develop new IT recruiter hires.
- Assist Director of Business Operations (DBO) where necessary.
- Using own judgment, run daily, weekly or monthly IT recruiter training meeting.
- Using own judgment, run daily, weekly or monthly IT recruiter meetings.
- Source, screen and interview prospective IT recruiters for internal roles.
- Work with recruiting team to hit individual IT recruiter performance goals.
- Work hard to meet personal goals as outlined by management.
- Strive to meet AVID Technical Resources’ office goals.
- Lead by example by thoroughly screening candidates, conducting internal interviews, negotiating rates, digging for leads and maintaining long-term contractor relationships.
- Make recommendations regarding IT recruiter promotion, discipline, and discharge.
- Help bridge the gap between sales and IT recruiting teams.
- Interview, evaluate and consider possible IT candidates for placement.
- Using own judgment, select the best available IT candidates for each position.
- Evaluate candidates to ensure each is interested and motivated to interview and accept opportunity.
- Manage multiple candidates and placed IT contract employees.
- Update candidates/employees regarding job status.
- Use discretion to negotiate compensation packages to obtain a strong margin.
- Personally interview candidates at your discretion.
- Meet with candidates or AVID Technical Resources consultants outside of office to identify and develop placement opportunities.
- Build relationships with prospective candidates.
- Maintain relationships with existing consultants.
- Maintain a high volume of calls (50-75 calls per day).
- Generate a minimum of 25 leads per week for salespeople.
- Communicate leads to the appropriate salesperson/salespeople.
- Other duties, as assigned by AVID Technical Resources.
