Looking for a AV Project/ Integration manager to support the the Network and Telecommunications Services Department. Must have prior experience consulting and designing media solutions. This position is responsible for designing, planning, implementing and managing AV solutions.
This person will serve as liaison for internal customers, and manage AV initiatives for new installations of media technology, signage or conferencing equipment. Working with ITS Customer Services, Network and Telecommunication Services, the functional area customer, Facilities teams and external vendors, this person will perform site walk-throughs, explain policies and procedures to customers, design media/AV solutions and oversee initiatives from start to finish.
Previous experience working with various stakeholders to develop policies and procedures, providing initial support and training to customers for these services, coordinating with internal service to ensure excellent end-user support, and maintaining internal and end-user documentation is a plus. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Able to guide construction related activities with regard to AV implementations
- Ability to manage multiple projects; attending project meetings and recording and acting on actions
- Follow up on action items that AV vendors own and ensure their delivery
- Ability to read AutoCAD and AV drawings
- AV Background (varying degrees considered) would be VERY helpful; CTS certification
- Familiarity with Crestron DM and DSP (Digital Signal Processing)
- Perform system acceptance commissioning as well as oversee AV vendors performing same.
- Communicate effectively verbally and with the written word
- Be organized
- Active use of Office365, Excel and Word
- Networking experience would be nice.
- Higher Education experience is highly desirable
