Looking for Documentation Specialists to identify and annotate pertinent information within specialty documents. You should have a thorough understanding of electronic medical records and medical abbreviation and have fundamental computer skills involving utilizing annotation tools and MS Office to successfully complete the work. After training and few weeks, working remotely few days a week is a possibility.
Basic Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience serving as a documentation specialist, particularly with clinical/medical documents
- Thorough understanding of electronic medical records, including but not limited to reading medical charts, lab reports, radiology reports, procedure notes.
- Good understanding of vast medical abbreviation
- Basic computer skills including MS Office
- Strong communication skills and able provide feedback on the annotation guidelines
- Experience reviewing reports and spreadsheets to correct, adjust, or support annotation decision
